Sunshine Residencial is a new project but not beachfront. Orilla del Mar is an established community directly on the beach.

Sunshine Residencial Cabarete is a gated community and consists of 29 units located in PRO CAB Cabarete starting in the mid $80,000’s. Just three minutes to the beach!
Offering:
1 bedroom /1 bathroom ( 754 sq. ft.)
2 bedrooms / 2 bathroom (1,163 sq. ft.)
2 bedrooms / 2 1/2 bathrooms (1,394 sq. ft.)
Sunshine Residencial features an open floor plan, granite counter tops in the kitchen and in the bathrooms , air conditioning in the master bedrooms, telephone, Internet access, cable and you will also enjoy a pool.
Orilla del Mar is situated on a secluded beach and features 62 one-bedroom, 11 two-bedroom and 11 studio condos with ocean and mountain views. This complex is located directly on the beach. Restaurants, bars and shopping are only 5 minutes by car . Prices range in the low to mid $100,000’s.

Villa Tropicale & The Oasis…
Villa Tropicale consists of 67 condominiums in a secluded Cabarete Beach front setting! Last year the starting price was around $160,000. Ville Tropicale is located near La Boca is one of the most private and secluded areas of Cabarete!
All units have a view of the Atlantic Ocean and the tropical gardens. Some of the features include air conditioning, a laundry room, a stove and a refrigerator. The property will be gated with 24 hour security, seven days a week.
The 67 units are located in three seperate buildings:
- Building #1 backs onto the beach front and there are 29 units.
- Building #2 consists of 24 units.
- Building #3 has 14 units.
The Oasis is a neighbor to Villa Tropicale and is also a luxury Cabarete Beach front residence which offers peaceful, private and secluded ocean living in Cabarete. The Oasis has one, two and three bedroom private residences. A limited number of units were offered at special pre-construction pricing back in 2008.
The original pre-construction prices for the one bedroom, one bath unit started at $138,000. And the 2 bedroom/2 bath was offered at $270,000 and the three bedroom / three bath was available back in 2008 for $345,000.
What are the prices now? They are higher but I don’t have an exact figure today. If you know the current prices for either Villa Tropicale or The Oasis please reply to this post at the bottom of the page.
The Oasis offers luxurious fixtures, appliances and great amenities such as:

The Oasis is a beautiful ocean front location with miles of deserted beaches and away from the highway and noise of downtown Cabarete. The Oasis is located next to La Boca which is one of the most secluded beach areas on the north coast of the island.

Ocean Dream, Ocean One & Ocean Point in Cabarete…
Ocean Dream, Ocean One and Ocean Point is located on one of the best beaches in the Dominican Republic. Ocean Dream is a small Cabarete Beach front condominium project that includes a plaza! It is a very popular development among tourists and investors and situated right in the heart of Cabarete and just a few steps away are first class beach restaurants, bars and late night discos.
The Ocean Dream Resort consists of 8 private residences and a luxury shopping plaza. There is a wide range in condo pricing from the mid 100,000’s to about $1,000,000. The plaza offers a drug store, law firm, UPS delivery service, Asian furniture, imported ceramic tile store, interior decorator, DVD rentals, beach apparel, beauty salon, spa, hairdresser, bakery, wine shop and ice-cream parlor. The development has it’s own generator guaranteeing 24 hour power. They provide 24 hour on-site security. Parking is available.
Ocean Dream is just a few feet away from the site of the kite boarding world cup event. Lessons are available at your doorstep making this the perfect place to learn or practice kite surfing.
The Ocean One development is another Cabarete Beach favorite for condo owners and vacationers! It is a newer project just steps away from Cabarete Beach, restaurants, shopping and great nightlife as well!
Ocean Point is a beach front condominium development with units starting around the high $400,000’s. It is also located on the world-class Kite Beach in Cabarete. Kite Beach has become renowned over the past couple of years as the top spot for the newest extreme sport, kite surfing. Ocean Point consists of two projects and both consist of the highest standards of construction, quality interior features, furnishings, and breathtaking ocean views. Every single apartment in both phases is 100% beach front.
This is considered by many to be the choice location if you want to be in the middle of all the beach activities and nightlife on Cabarete Beach.

Viva Wyndham Tangerine in Cabarete…
Back in 2007 I made my first trip to the Dominican Republic and stayed on Cabarete Beach at a very nice all inclusive resort called Viva Wyndham Tangerine in Cabarete on the north coast of the island.
This hotel resort has 361 feet of private beach where you can relax and soak up the warm Caribbean sun or watch the windsurfing and kite-surfing enthusiasts who come from all over the world just for water sports on Cabarete Beach.
The Viva Wyndham Tangerine is a short walk on the sand to the local shops, restaurants and bars. Cabarete is not just known for the beach activities, after the sun does down Cabarete offers an exciting nightlife with discos and live bands.
The Viva Wyndham Tangerine is a good size complex with over 200 rooms that feature balconies, cable TV, clock radios, coffee makers, desks, hair dryers, daily housekeeping, in room safes, irons and ironing boards, mini bars, sofa beds, and pay movies.
If you don’t want to swim in the Atlantic Ocean there is a huge freshwater pool and a child pool with great views of the beach and sea. There is a tennis court, game room and lively late night discotheque.
The food, drinks, wine and liquor is included in the rate so there’s no additional costs to have a good time during your stay. The three restaurants at the resort are all really excellent. The La Bahia is the main dining room and offers a buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. El Mexicano offers a Mexican cuisine for dinner and reservations are required. The third restaurant is called La Vela and has an Italian menu for dinner only.
In addition to the three restaurants Viva Wyndham Tangerine offers 24-hour snacks and room service for breakfast! As I mentioned you can have unlimited drinks at the bar or by the pool. There are all kinds of things to do for kids including water sports, nightly entertainment, Caribbean dance lessons and more.
The hotel staff speaks English and seems to be very helpful. If you want to go on tours in the Dominican Republic the resort has reservation agents at the hotel. If you need a rental car they will assist with that also. Other services they can provide include child care/babysitting services and medical needs. There is a really nice exercise room that is never busy. The hotel has 24 hour front desk service and security.
Whether you are going to Cabarete for vacation or to invest in real estate the Viva Wyndham Tangerine is a good choice for your all inclusive accommodations. There are so many other great places to stay in Cabarete but this is convenient and well priced for all the amenities provided.

Cabarete East is a Cabarete Real Estate Development…
What’s new at Cabarete East? Cabarete East is a quality oceanfront condo hotel on the north coast of the Dominican Republic! When this 40 unit beachfront condominium resort was built in the exciting village of Cabarete a few years ago the condominiums were priced from $155,000 to about the mid $300,000 range. What are there going for now? I’m really not sure of the market value for Cabarete East condos but I think the weekly rental rates start around $600.
From the reviews I’ve read, tourists don’t seem to have many complaints? Some say the condos are perfect with excellent quality! Other travel blog posts have had replies from travelers who say the condos are very big, with a super pool, staff and restaurant! Maybe that’s why you don’t see many units at Cabarete East on the market for sale! The real estate investment opportunity sounds like one to look into further!
The development was built in three phases and sold out quickly! I have seen Cabarete East and taken photos! If there is one possible knock on this project it would be the distance to the heart of town but that really should not be an issue. However, it is to far to walk to the bars and restaurants. Shopping, restaurants and nightclubs are a 5 minute drive from Cabarete East.

Most bedrooms have an ocean view and lanai! The artitectual features include double insulated windows sized to maximize views of the beach and sea! I have not stayed at this resort so I’m not sure of the noise factor from other units within the condo community.
There is a solid management and on site reception area in the lobby! They have a small store, laundry service, pool side bar, lounging chairs and a private beach. They also have on-site generators and 24 hour security.

Sorry, I don’t have a picture of The Cabarete Palm Beach Condos! Can someone send one to me for this post? I have never seen the interior of the units but I love the location. You can’t get any closer to the action! It really is a premiere beachfront location, just steps away from clubs, restaurants and beach fun!
The Cabarete Palm Beach has 16 luxury oceanfront 2-bedroom, 2-bath condos and 4 large studios. I have been told that the condo units are spacious apartments. In fact the two bedroom units have 1,100 square feet and include air-conditioned bedrooms and private patio with ocean view. Penthouses are 1,400 square feet and up.
The studios are much smaller with 330 square feet and the entire unit is air-conditioned. The studios are on the second and third levels with views of the Atlantic Ocean from the studio balconies.
The Cabarete Palm Beach condos have a swimming pool, high speed Internet, On site receptionist, concierge services, housekeeping is available, telephone, Cable TV, laundry service, security, two back-up generators and of course the spectacular Cabarete Beach is just 40 feet away from your front door!
