Cabarete can be found in the Dominican Republic and is known worldwide for its wonderful kite surfing beach locations which attract thousands of young people annually. The young crowd visits this popular destination from all over the world to surf, party, drink and bathe in the hot sun. Las Brisas is essentially the most popular venue for Cabarete nightlife entertainment. The dance floor is lighted with strobe lighting and lasers, along with a bar that is always busy. Most patrons will show up with dates, but you don’t have to worry if you are traveling as a single man as there always beautiful women available to provide company.

You can find hip nightlife at shanties or little bars on the beach with live music virtually every night right after sunset. On Tuesdays merengue and salsa music can be enjoyed at Onno’s Bar. For your Friday night entertainment, the Bamboo Bar will be ideal place and the Tribal Cafe and Wave Bar will be the hot spot for Saturday night entertainment.

On practically any week night, you can find discussions and a sense of modern hip style at Café Pitu. Located a few minutes from the popular Onno’s Bar, this bar is for the most part cited as the focal point of Cabarete nightlife. This spot also provides Wi-Fi internet access on the property, thereby setting up a studious location with scantily dressed athletes browsing the internet and drinking rum punch. You should know that only a handful of these bars have individual street numbers and telephone numbers, but you can find them in easy walking distance from the main street or the beach.

During the day time, Cabarete can be described as a peaceful little beach village, but during the night it will become the happening and hip beach strip. In contrast to its neighbor Sosua, this destination is known more for having European travelers and not so much the local working girls.

There are two distinct seasons in the Dominican Republic. You can find the cool months last from November through to April with the average temperature varying from 29 degrees Celsius in the daytime to 19 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. Then, there is the hot season from May through to October with the average temperature ranging from 30 to 22 degrees Celsius. The rainfall comes frequently in May to June, while the sunlight days will be the same all year round. The rainfall can vary significantly based on the time of year. For instance, the north coast of the island generally has rain starting in October and continues for the rest of the year and stops in early January.

The shoreline boasts a plethora of sandy white beaches, coral reefs and lagoons, providing the ideal atmosphere for relaxing, swimming and sunbathing. Agualina Kite Resort is located Right on Kite Beach in Cabarete! Approximate prices start from the Low to mid $200,000’s to over $450,000. Agualina Kite Resort was built in 2004 by Georges Coutu and the 4 star resort is located right on the exicting Kite Beach.

The Agualina Kite Resort features two and three bedroom apartments with 24 hour independent electricity, DSL high speed internet, air conditioning throughout, fully furnished, front desk receptionist, pool and 24 hour security.

All units have a view of the Atlantic Ocean and the tropical gardens. Some of the features include air conditioning, a laundry room, a stove and a refrigerator. The property will be gated with 24 hour security, seven days a week.

The 67 units are located in three seperate buildings:

• Building #1 backs onto the beach front and there are 29 units.
• Building #2 consists of 24 units.
• Building #3 has 14 units.

The Oasis is a neighbor to Villa Tropicale and is also a luxury Cabarete Beach front residence which offers peaceful, private and secluded ocean living in Cabarete. The Oasis has one, two and three bedroom private residences. A limited number of units were offered at special pre-construction pricing back in 2008.

The original pre-construction prices for the one bedroom, one bath unit started at $138,000. And the 2 bedroom/2 bath was offered at $270,000 and the three bedroom / three bath was available back in 2008 for $345,000.
